Re: Finally.
The yellow will look nice on your truck. Good choice, but I have to say that I have always liked the multi color thing on there now.

Re: Finally.
I kinda like the way it looks now... I like the patchwork look, I knew a guy in my hometown that had a 4 door dually, every body panel was painted a different color on purpose... it was definately different.
Anyhow, I like your wheels, who makes them if you don't mine me asking... and what size/backspacing are they?

Re: Finally.
Yellow looks good, but grab your wallet when buying materials. I had almost $1400 in materials shooting my '73, and I work at the shop!

Re: Finally.
After chromium was outlawed in paints, yellow is very transparent. It took 6 coats of base over a tinted sealer to cover. I had my truck pulled down to just the cab on the frame, and painted inside and out (except inside the bed). It looked really good when it was done, though.

Re: Finally.
Personally, I like the hawaiian blue that parts of your truck are. My grandpa bought one new in '76 that color. I think it would look sharp in that color.

Re: Finally.
After looking close. That poor truck has been at least 4 colors if not more The OG was a metallic light blue then white then a dark blue and that smurf blue and i shot some black primer to cover some body work. The paint is so thick ill have more time getting rid of all of that. Oh well it was a lien sale save. so much for the cheap initial price
