Holy crap. Dave, are you still watching this thread? I just had a guy offer me NOS fenders for $800 a pair. $800?!?!?!? Thats absurd. Do people really pay that much for a pair of FENDERS that should be as common as grass with the number of these trucks produced?

tom, I don't know which thread you are talking about , but nothing will surprise me in the future. EVERYTHING ammerican made will be collectable in the near future unfortunately. I watch peple pay hundreds and even thousands of dollars for stuff I threw away 25 years ago. Thank godness Ebay has let me AFFORD to keep collecting the truck stuff . I am hunting for my special 'niche' now. It will probably happen about the time the Gov't steps in on ebay. :-( .
BTW the guy winnning your bid now is from Texas???? long ride for him if he wins. he'll probably pass by 50 other SOUTHERN scrapyards that have rust free doors piled up while he's on his way NORTH . :-). DAVE

Jeff, youd be suprised.
Ive tried 5 yards so far [not very many close to my area, all of them are a 45min drive away] While there isent much rust, people drive like complete idiots here. Ever drive in florida? All the old people make it dangerous. Now take those drivers, and make them drive just as bad only 30mph faster. Now you have AZ drivers. So we have lots of rust free, bashed in vehicles
