Will they fit?
Anybody running 4 in backspacing on their 8 in front rims for lowered truck < If so what size tire.
Ipresently am running 8in tt2's on front -5.5 backspacing - 255x 17x 50 tires & still have room to go wider. Ialso have 2 -9.5 in. tt2's with 5.5 backspacing laying around in my garage I WAS PLANNING ON SELLING . Question is this : If some of you are running 8 in rims on front with 4 in backspacing , would not 9.5 in rims with 5.5 backspacing work the same . Unless Im thinking wrong ( which Ido a lot ) they should stick out about the same . |

Re: Will they fit?
I've got 15X8's on the Heap with 4" bs. The front ones rub the lower control arm but you should be OK with the 17's.

Re: Will they fit?
Depends on how low. the 5.5 9.5s are 1.75 wider to the front so they would be real close to the fender lip. It wouldn't clear on mine 17 inch tt2s 8 with 4 245/45 tires. its close to 6 in the front. Jay
