Emissions
I heard, in Ontario laws are coming. Bad laws about emissions
and Vintage/Hot Rodded cars needing to meet criteria. Like age of engine and what emissions that engine should have had. Stockers will be fine but what about custom engine builds and such. For some strange reason I feel a need to cut down a tree! |

Re: Emissions
In Texas you can register your 25+ or 30+ year old vehicle as an "antique vehicle" and it no longer requires inspection (or so I understand). Of course...your only supposed to use it for parades, shows, public events, etc....and not as a daily driver.

Re: Emissions
In california you're free and clear if the vehicle is over 25 years old. Although you do have to smog if you change ownership.
I figure I make up for every Prius on Hwy 85 the days I drive my 65 :-) Last edited by Russ65C10; 02-26-2010 at 08:03 PM. |

Re: Emissions
Russ65C10,
You had to have your truck smog checked? Is the law different by county? I've bought and sold many pre '72 trucks in the past 4 years, and have never had to have any of them smogged. |
