new guy in here with a 61
i just picked up a 61 stepside..235 with a 3 on the tree.going to put a new trans in it and use it to haul parts around for my other projects.it has the usual rust on the roof,cab corners and floor but cae with another cab that is pretty decent.so far lurking this website has been a wealth of knowledge.anyways here are a couple pics

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking truck, good to see it still has it's original hood. They're really hard to come by in good shape.

thanks guys..like i said the truck has a bunch of rust..floors are the worst.but its going to be my cool parts hauler for my other stuff..the 3 speed is shot im told,but i got another one to go in there until i decide to put a sbc in it.the paint isnt the greatest,its just rattle can,and it needs a windsheild..but its all there with an extra cab thats in better condition..anyways thanks again

aww man,i wish you were closer! the extra cab has one in it,but has cracks in it..i am not very confident that we will get it out in one piece!

Yeah, you're a pretty good haul away.
And the bummer is, 60-63s are more than double the price new, than 64-66s.. Thats why I held on to this one, incase I got another knee-knocker cab.
