OK have the frame going to start a k5 2wd and going to put in a trailing arm rear suspension with bags don't mind cutting the floor but want to keep some kind of rear seat. Now, with that said how would that work with a dropmember in front. would that be to low in front compared to the rear.

some advice please,

It will have a rake to it. but if you are going with a hot rod look it will look sweet. Mine sits up in the back and here is one that Ken did. His is stock floor with a small C.

How much difference would it be for the dropmember setup or just go with tublar a arm set up with bags on both. Would lime the a arm set anyway. Hey Travis your blazer is top notch in my book!!!!! Have had quite a few just can't get the one to keep.

the a-arms are not going to make a diff as far as how low it can go...here is mine, it is a burb but you get the idea, mine is with stock arms and uncut cups from SD, and a 1 5/8 chopped crossmember. And is all under the stock floor in the back.

Is it better to go with the dropmember to achieve more ground clearance and to run the rack and pinion. Then just stay with the stock a arms untill later in my build??

I believe this is the best way to go. The dropmember takes care of a lot of problems laying out a c10: deletes the steering box, centers the wheels in the wheel wells, and essentially bodydrops the front to name a few. Plus the newest version (v3.2) is tubular and looks wicked as hell, and Nate is a top notch dude, he texted me my tracking number at 9:30pm on a sunday night.

thanks for the advice. I think i will stick to the dropmember up front. Just want to say also that this site has so much help and info on it glad I found it. Trying to find a few pics of my old blazer and will post.

I'll be watching this one. I have been think about doing the same thing with my 2wd. I want to do it more for handling than drop. Plus I don't lose my back seat.
