81' c10 sm465
Has anyone with an early 80's C10 swapped out the straight 6 250 and three on the tree for a 350 and SM465. I have already swapped out the engine and want to lose the column shifted saginaw for an SM465. My donor 350 came out of an 81 blazer, but i used the clutch, flywheel, and bellhousing from my straight six. So, should an early 80's SM465 bolt right in with a quick cut to the hump or is there more involved?

I've never owned a column shifted truck before, but I'd guess you'd be fine to get away with just a hole cut in the floor. I imagine that the clutch stuff would all remain the same between the two transmissions.
