rag cab shortbox dually
I started a ccsb dually project. But changed driections after the parts truck i found. So lets start all over I found a rust free 1984 3/4 ton rag cab with134.000km and a 6.2 or 6.5 that was f@#ked.I decided to cut the frame and make a rag cab shortbox dually with a cummings and 22.5 rims on air.I already have the shortbox with dually fenders mounted and the 22.5 working on the cummings and shortening the frame.I will post pic as soon as my wife gets home.

This sounds like a killer project with a ton of potential. But I gotta say......

Re: rag cab shortbox dually
Well sorry no pic but i'm very bad with computers and my wife has been working. So i riped the bumper and box off yesterday. I then cut the rear frame so the short box would mount.Tomorow I'll rip out the tanks and lay the cut lines then load it up and off to the shop.I'm thinking about going 17" wheels instead of 22.5?

Re: rag cab shortbox dually
It does sound like you are making some nice progress. I hope you are at least taking pics for yourself. I think you should do some direct bolt 19" wheels. Big enough to fill out the wells, but still pretty reasonable price wise. If you get a chance, get us at least 1 pic to share with us. I want to see what you are working with.
