Question Changing 4WD 69 blazer to 2WD

This is a project I am currently undertaking and I was wanting any advice from someone who has done this before.

69 K-Blazer 1/2 ton 73-87 5 lug suspension with disc brake and lowered spindle (bell tech)

Thank's in advance,
Sam

My understanding is that it is fairly straight forward. The crossmember is close to a bolt in affair. Most likely you'll need to flip the rearend on top of the leafs. It has been done many times before. You might get a better response on the main 67-72 board. Or you could drive over to Oklahoma and get my complete chassis and put your tub on it.

i have done this swap on my 69 . i used a 74 truck crossmember and associated parts . on the rear i am going with a ladder bar set up . i used belltech drop spindles with firestone airbags on the front . with the air let out of the bags , it will lay the control arms on the pavement. with a 235/60/15 tire .
