Re: Wtb
The holes should line up just fine. The biggest difference you will see it that the pre-84 bezels had the wipers on the dash, and the light switch below that. In '84, the wipers moved to the column, and the light switch moved up. I have a '91 'Burb cluster in my '79, and the original '79 bezel fits fine. Maybe yours is hitting something?

tHANKS Jonboy
Maybe this is the problem . My original cluster had idiot lights . There was a black metal pc. that was on the cluster thay outlined the speedo , fuel guage & the lights in which the clear lens went on . Iused this black pc. to mount my autometer tach in & put this on a nonstock (pre 80 Ithink) cluster housing . Was this pc. Im talking about on the guage clusters as well . Ithink the fitment problem is that Iam trying to get my bezel over top of something that isnt supposed to be there . ? |

Re: Wtb
I think they all had them. Not sure why it wouldn't want to fit. The pre 80 used a very cluster. Where is it not fitting properly at? The cluster is supposed to slide under the dash (metal part) on the left side, and everything should line up.
