Column swap?????
I am in the process in swapping in a 72 column into my 65 chevy and I am wondering if theres someone that has takin the guess work out of it that can enlighten me on what they did to mount theirs.

on my 62 I made a new strap that bolts the column forward to two other dash bolts and allows the mounting for the e brake to be removed without messing with the column, the ts wiring was different on my 62 , the colors matched but they used different positions for the colors so I had to trace back each wire, I used the stock 71-72 rag joint and just collapsed the column to get the length right

Thats kind of what I was thinking in making new straps just was wondering about Ideas on where to start. Thanks Ill post some pics in my build when I think of something.

There are several links to posts on this subject. I could not find a column swap info in the 60 -66 FAQ. I couldn't find a section in the 67-72. In one of the posts, Tx firefighter says in put in an FAQ?
