This is how we do it in Phoenix, AZ (videos)
Here are some home videos of a friend driving his brothers car the week before it got repo'd.
Now remember kids these stunts are performed by professionals (beer drinking) on a closed course (behind the local stores). Here is some information on the car itself: Firebird 96-97 maybe even 98 V6 w/ 4-speed auto (yes auto) The videos arent as clean as they should be because I had to play the video on my TV while I used my digital camera to record it. Sorry for the low quality, but its good enough. Enjoy! http://www.73-87.com/~phoenix/Firebird-PHX-01.AVI http://www.73-87.com/~phoenix/Firebird-PHX-02.AVI http://www.73-87.com/~phoenix/Firebird-PHX-03.AVI Nobody was hurt during the making of these videos. We have tons more of this kind of stuff, just no way of putting on computer.

Just able to get video 2. Mike's site is just overloaded now. I was on another page and it said "Server busy". If his site get's any more popular, he's going to want to upgrade.

Well, I seen this post and contacted tech support for my web host. They told me I've exceeded my bandwidth, which is 25 gigs. That is no small amount. I guess the videos killed it though. I've never ever had a problem before.
The hosting plan I have is 1000 megs of space, unlimited traffic, and 25 gigs of bandwidth. I'm not upgrading to the next level, because it's also 25 gigs. As a matter of fact, all their plans are 25 gigs of bandwidth. I'm not purchasing more bandwidth either. I don't make a red cent off this site, it's for pleasure only and to help you guys. Sometimes this web site thing is more trouble than it's worth, you know? My site should be loading now.

Eddie, no way you caused this. I think they are pulling my leg about my bandwidth alotment. No way your videos used 25 gigs.
No, I have no way to tell how many times they were downloaded. I wish I did.

They keep tabs on your bandwidth but you can't access server logs? That seems a little BS to me...

Oops, sorry, yes I can access the server logs. I'll check and see what it says.

It looks like they were downloaded around 120 times all
total. Or at least they were tried to download. A bunch of them probably never happened when my site went south. I'm just guessing my regular bandwidth a day is at most a couple megs. So if this is right, it would have been around 480 megs total. Just count it as 500 megs. This is yesterday only. Regular days would probably be 3 or 4 megs total. Just a guess. Make it 10 to be on the high side. With 10 days at 10 megs is 100 megs. Add this to the other 500, is 600 megs. So I ask you, how in the hell did I exceed 25 gigs of bandwidth in 11 days? A gig is 1000 megs to round it off, which is 250,000 megs. I think someone is trying to shoot me a line of crap. I know the figures above are not anywhere near exact. But there just is no way I exceeded my alloted bandwidth, if it's at 25 gigs. I'll get to the bottom of this tomorrow for sure. This is far from over. Mike |

Mike:
I am thinking that they might have assumed your account had been hacked. Look at it this way. Your statistics were probably very consistent until yesterday. Then a new directory appears with videos in it that show people breaking the law and generally acting stupid (sorry to those involved in the stupidity... ). The videos start getting hit pretty hard and using up a lot of bandwidth very suddenly. If I were them, I would think that something fishy was going on. Oh, and it could also be that your monthly bandwidth limit includes a daily limit as well. Or maybe not... Slonaker |

What was illegal about the activity? We had the property owners permission and it was private property.
Ryan, the only problem with that is I cant send emails any larger then 1mb.

Okay, Phoenix.
If you had the property owners's permission, then it was only stupid. <------Note smilies indicating sarcasm! Slonaker |

JamiL: Mike let me put those videos on his site. When I posted about the videos alot of people DL'ed them and caused his site to go over the transfer limit. Mike had to take them off to keep the site going. If I find another way to post/host the videos I will and will be sure to post. My ISP does not allow me to send emails over 1mb, or I would email them.
