replacing front wheel bearing 4x4
I have an 84 K10. I am replacing the front wheel bearing. when I removed the hub, the housing was packed full of bearing grease. when I replace the bearing, do I pack the houseing with grease also, or is a well packed bearing good enough?

Re: replacing front wheel bearing 4x4
You need to grease the whole inside of the hub,not just the bearing

Re: replacing front wheel bearing 4x4
You don't need to pack the whole thing with grease. You just need to clean and pack the bearings really good.If you needed to fill it they would have a zerk fitting on it.
