converting 68 fenders to fit 72
long story short i was not paying attention! i was at a swap meet and bought some new lmc fenders for my 72 blazer! the box said 69-72 . i took a quick look and the price was right.... months later i was ready to start mocking up and guess what? the fenders are 67-68 style. MY question is has anyone welded the 72 grill section to the 68 style? looks like it should work. thanks

I would probably just try and trade some one for the correct fenders.

Re: converting 68 fenders to fit 72
I might be interested in them and have a couple decent fenders, although I would have to check the condition of the driver's side one, but it should be good.
Not sure on welding the grill to it though.
