Lambo vertical doors.

Has anyone ever seen Lambo doors on these trucks? Im very intrested in this mod and anyone who does this kind of stuff. My uncle is paralyzed from the chest down and im the one that takes him to all of his hospital needs. Its sucks that we struggle to get him in as the truck's doors don't open so far. I was wondering if someone has done this mod on there truck. Pics would be nice.

I think they look terrible on anything, especially trucks. But I've seen it done on a square.

Suicide doors may be a better option. They make it easier to get in and out and will open further than stock.

Re: Lambo vertical doors.

Suicide doors are a lot of work where as the Lambo door is a bolt on hinge.
The original poster wants better access not a custom setup. The Lambo doors operate like regular doors but have the option of being raised.

Now that being said I have not seen our trucks with the Lambo doors, but it would seem that do to the height of the door that when it is in the raised position the bottom of the door would still be in the way.

From what I have seen, these "lambo" doors don't make it any easier to get in/out...in fact, it looks more difficult to do so with them on.

From a looks perspective, they make me turn my head the other way whenever I see them.

x2, after the hinges are put on the door will still open normally, but not near as far as they do now. Plus, as mentioned, they put the bottom edge of the door right in your way. I wouldn't do it for functionality or cosmetic reasons.

Does the word "guillotine" mean any thing to you? A square body door is heavy.
