Rear Fender replacement..
hey guys,
i am trying to find two rear fenders for my 1953 GMC 1/2 ton truck and I found some fiberglass ones in a Classic Industries catalog. It says that they are made to fit the 1947-55 Suburbans but I was wondering if they would fit my pickup? Does anyone with a suburban know how close they are to the rear fenders of the 1/2 ton pickups? Thanks again! |

Yep the panel/burb fenders mount up and down into the body where p/u's
mount horizontal. And p/u's are wider.

Goodmark is here in Lawrenceville, not that far from Washington, Ga. You can pickup parts there and save shipping charges so keep that in mind if you decide to purchase a pair of fenders.

Re: Rear Fender replacement..
You might try these guys also. I have never dealt with them so I know nothing about them either. They have steel ones and fiberglass ones, I noticed that they have wider ones also. I found them a while back when I was looking for wider fenders. We haven't bought them yet but it is one of my options.
