C-60 engine swap, I6 to V-8
I'm helping a friend replace the blown 292 in his '80 C-60, with a 350. The 292 is backed up by a standard, while the 350 is from a automatic. I have a standard flexplate for the 350.
Besides moving the motor mounts, does anyone see any problems with this? The bellhousings bolt up, dont they? Thanks

The bolt up should be straight forward. You may need to move the transmission mount but I'm not sure. One thing you will definately need is a bigger radiator. Go with a 3 core or the big sucker 4 core. The exhaust will need some routing and additions. Do you have the exhaust manifolds. You could probably find a "y" off a late '80 truck to fit nicely.
