Hi Bowtie 62 your stepper is awesome I hope you still have it. I have a 62 GMC short step that I'm building I like the color you have I think its called "glenwood green". Color choices are driving me crazy but I'm going to stick with solid colors was thinking your color or a beige called vanilla shake. Also how did you lower it? Do you still have torsion bars? I'm considering a cross member swap. Are those coker classics and what size did you go with like the smoothie rims too. Sorry about all the questions its just are trucks are a rare breed.

The fog lights are Unity brand. I found this pair on eBay for less than $50. They are aprroximately 1970 vintage. If they were 1960 vintage each would have a separate crest on top like on the spotlights, and as shown on the following eBay listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Unity...Q5fAccessories

I run them all the time the headlights are on, and the parking lights are wired to stay on as well. It makes the truck highly visible from long distances. As fog lights, they do offer some help, but are only about 1/3 as effective as a pair of PIAA lamps. Since they are somewhat low power old fashioned sealed beams, the bulbs last over 5 years with constant usage.

I don't know if these were ever a dealer installed option, but the spotlights were, and are also Unity brand. I also have a set of NOS Unity back up lights which will soon be added along side the rear license plate, shining back through the dip in the center of the bumper. I've always had a passion for Unity accessories. They made very high quality items and were very popular when I was a kid.

Here's a couple of close up photos.

Hay markeb01

That doesn't look like a stock rear bumper. What did you do to it?

It actually is stock, just an odd angle in the photo. It has 59 Caddy lights above it, factory stone shields above the bumper brackets, and Unity back up lights in a custom pan in the center. Here’s a different shot better showing the details:
