Pertronix Ignitor On 56 235
Anyone running one of these in your 235 12 volt motors? I'd like to order one with their Flamethrower coil. The Ignitor looks like part #1168, but not sure about the coil......#40511?
How do you like this setup? Thanks, Raymo |

Re: Pertronix Ignitor On 56 235
Over at stovebolt.com there is a tech article about modifying a late model GM six HEI for a 235. Relatively simple as I recall. might be a cost effective option to the Pertronix.

Re: Pertronix Ignitor On 56 235
I think the Gm HEI may be a better way to go. I like pertronix, I've used it on other cars, but also had problems with them as well. One of them would burn up if you left the key on for more than a minute.
