Re: Cracked something
Oh .... I'll agree. That does not look good.
I think I'd be looking for a replacement .... soon .... really soon. What happened?? What made you take a look?? Big burnout? Heavy duty hauling? Ratty 46 |

Good luck with it buddy... hate to see it go but I know how life is. I am hanging onto what is left of my 82 in hopes of resurrecting it one day. I have come close to parting it out a few times.... Hope things are going ok with you and the kiddo.

Re: Cracked something
CHECK your u-joint and drive shaft... this is probably what caused it to break.. You can also just get a bare case and swap the internals, or cut the bellhouseing off and put an ulta bell on it.. ITS not scrap unless its worn out.

Re: Cracked something
on second thought, that crack looks like it runs into the transmission case body. If thats the case, a case swap is the only option besides replacement.

Re: Cracked something
if you want to go with a regular turbo350 (with convertor) to replace it...I've got one ready to go!
