66 C-10 chevy frame into a 72 C-10 body
I have a 66 C-10 chevy stepside, the bed is rusted out so, I will have to replace the whole bed, the rear fenders are ok, the 66 cab I will have to fix the floor. I found a 72 cab with doors, fenders, hood and bed, it doesnot have the chasis, will the chasis from the 66 truck fit into this body without modifications or do I need to modify the chasis to make it work.
Thanks for your help |

Front frame rails are different shape if that's a concern.
Rear cab mounts need to be modified/lowered. Front core supports are in different location. They are very close & the bodies could be poorly swapped as is (looks unsafe to me). Mods need to be done to do it right.
