Chevy Addict in TX
Howdy Howdy... name's Brian, live around Waco, TX. I am a well seasoned Chevy owner, just bought my 4th generation of Chevy (but back down to 3 trucks now ). Anyways, this seems like a great site with lots of good info and tech, looking forward to diving in a bit deeper.
Always loved the 69-72 long bed C series, so I've been keeping my eye out for one for a long long time. This past week, one popped up on CL up in Ft. Worth, and I just had to jump on it. 1970 C10. Kid painted it primer black with a gigantical "misfits" sticker on the hood, which I'm not so fond of. Thinking about painting it the original med olive green, we'll see. It's in great shape, runs and drives, EVERYTHING on it works, titled, registered, inspected, got it for next to nothing. Then there's the D-max I've had for about 6 months doing towing duties... Lastly, my '82 K20, affectionately named Little Tan, which I've swapped a crew cab onto, running 1 tons, 42" Iroks, propane, etc etc etc $ $ $ $. She won't win any beauty contests, but she'll crawl! (Hence the username, 82Crawler) Also, I'm a board member and the forum admin for centex offroad. Any of you Texas boys into 4 wheeling come by and say howdy, http://www.centexoffroad.com/forum. |

Re: Chevy Addict in TX
Thanks to all.
Only have a couple pics of the '70. My plans are to do a 2/4 drop, repaint it (nothing fancy just make it look not-crappy again), clean up some of the wiring, and drive it! Want to paint it the stock medium olive green with a white top, and rally wheels painted to match the truck. Last edited by 82crawler; 08-25-2010 at 04:58 PM. |
