Re: Pics of bed mounted to frame?
There are (8) bolts holding the bed to the frame.
(2) at the back that go through brackets that are welded to the rear crossmember (the crossmember under the tailgate) these bolt through the top of the frame. (2) at the crossmember near the back, these bolt through the frame. There are (2) crossmembers toward the front of the bed that have (2) bolts in each crossmember that bolt through brackets that are on the frame. Last edited by lakeroadster; 08-03-2010 at 05:06 PM. Reason: Malibob set me straight, I forgot the back crossmember |

Re: Pics of bed mounted to frame?
For stock there are 8. Very similar to the pic above (2 where the gas tank is located on John's pics).

Re: Pics of bed mounted to frame?
If you have a long bed there a 12 bolts. The extra 4 bolts dont go through the bed floor, they only go through the bottom of the 2 extra cross sills (1 between the 2 front sills and 1 between the 2 rear sills) and through the frame.
