Re: What's wrong with this picture???

That is a mismatched set for sure, one looks to be stock and the other a drop spindle. Time to call them up and hopefully they will work with you to make things right. Good luck and keep us updated.

Re: What's wrong with this picture???

That's my thought, too. As luck would have it, I found this at about 7:15 p.m. (EST) and no answer out there (PT).
Is it just me, or does anyone else have a problem with their customer service. Earlier this week I rec'd a set of vent windows seals and window channels, and oops!, seems the actual vent window seals were back-ordered with no delivery date in sight. I don't think I'm going to order from them again. And they damn well better straighten this mess out!

Re: What's wrong with this picture???

Dear Valued Customer,

In answer to your question about the spindles you recieved. First let me say thank you for buying our new custom Left Lean kit. You just need to run a 22" wheel on one side and a 15" on the other and it will all work out. Or if you prefer you could buy the Right lean kit for an additional $600 plus shipping and match up the spindles.

If you need further assistance please call Customer Service at 800-GET-BENT
Our customer service hours are 9:00 am to 9:02 am on the second Tuesday of each week. If you need a faster resolution to your issue just walk out in front of a bus. Then you'll be leaning in the same direction as the truck and won't give a damn. I'm glad you gave us the oportunity to assist you.

Thanks for shopping at Dewe, Scruwem and Howe.

Sincerely
Customer Service

Maybe it is to compensate for the driver's weight....

I am sure it will all work out, if not stop payment on your credit card and reorder from a different source. Who was the vendor?

I think thats the best thing ive heard in a long time.
Your best bet is to go through the vendors on this forum so you can deal with people who know these trucks an take as much pride in them as we all do.

Re: What's wrong with this picture???

UPDATE:

After stewing on this all weekend, called CarandTruckShop this morning. They will not send correct parts (Their screw-up, not mine) until they get the wrong stuff back. They will issue a UPS pickup tag and after a week travel time, and "inspecting" the incorrect parts, they will send a "correct" part (with another week travel time). Or, they offered to refund all charges including initial shipping (which I paid) after they receive the "in-correct" parts.

QUESTION:

Do I wait for them to correct the mis-matched parts, or
Take the refund and order from someone else?

In that case, who??

This will be my LAST dealing with them - for sure ! !

If you are on a time line I would take the refund. Otherwise let them fix the problem. It was their mistake and it sounds like they are willing to fix it. But you have to look at this from their end too. I am sure people would take a pic like you did and try to get a free set of spindles. They are just covering their ass even though it costs you time.

Re: What's wrong with this picture???

Seems as though they want to try and make things right, give them the chance, send the bad parts back to them and let them send you the correct parts in return. You should then have the parts you need and can make a decision at that time whether or not you ever want to deal with them again.

This is standard from almost all parts dealers. I myself have sent out wrong parts then sent out replacements ahead of getting the wrong stuff back and never got the wrong parts back and could never get hold of the customer. So I only send out replacements when I get the old stuff back. They did offer to cover shipping and send you the corrected parts so I think their trying to make good.

You have to send them back anyway before you get your refund and there is no gaurantee that if you buy from someone else , even a board member, they won't make a mistake on your order and you don't save any time by going with someone else. I have not heard anything on the forums or web that indicates they always jack the customers around so I would give them the chance to make good.

If you refuse to only buy from dealers that have never made a mistake on an order you need to start making your own parts because they all including myself make mistakes on order from time to time.

I have bought parts from them...but they are local to me and I get it at the counter...I would take the refund...and in this case since you are buying spindles...I would go with the suspension experts...and purchase from ECE...just my 2 cents...good luck
