throttle linkage
put a new intake and carb on my truck with some other goodies and now havin some issues adapting my 600 edelbrock electric choke to the stock throttle bar(linkage). i was hopin to get some insight before i start cutting and fabbing if theres an easier way. thanks

I did this to my truck, I will go take a picture and post it for you. I just sanded down the end of the rod a tiny bit & it worked perfectly. really was a a 10min simple job.

ok. thanks. ive seen where a lot of people are using heim joints but i dont like the way they look because they stick out so far from the carb. but if i cant figure something out i may have to join the crowd.

You can also enlarge the hole in the throttle arm to 1/4" and attach it like below:

Here ya go, pretty much the same as above, just flipped around so I did'nt have the extra rod end sticking out over the intake.

This comes up often. You can hack it or purchase the correct piece from Edelbrock. Click on the link below, scroll down to my post, and click on that link.
