Original glovebox on my '67?

Ok, one more "original" question....

Does this look like the factory glovebox lid?
Would it have been Silver color from the factory?

I'm curious because, while all the options on the
sticker seem to be correct for the truck the VIN
is off by one digit.

The North Carolina Title and door plate VIN ends in "70"...
the glove box sticker VIN ends in "69".
Just a fluke at the factory?

Being off only one digit is pretty amazing. Must've been one of those "made on Monday morning" wonders.

Re: Original glovebox on my '67?

What does your glovebox door look like when closed? Is it silver and black just like the instrument cluster? IIRC 67 was the only year the chevy gloveboxes were painted silver and black just like the cluseter.

only longhorn the frame and cab are off by one also. The frame is one truck older than the cab. Both the SPID and the title reflect the # on the cab.
