1961 lowered spindles
I just got a 61 gmc i want to lower it but it has torsien bars, do they make drop spindles for this,also what kind of performance parts do they have for the 305 v-6......

yes cpp does i have 2 1/2 in drop spindle i have a set for my 61 chevy. just a heads up ball joints are about 300 dollars. it sucks but thats the cheapest i could find them.

You should be able to swap the complete crossmember to a '73-'87 unit for less than the cost of the early balljoints. Not counting your labor of course. There's not much in the way of performance parts for the GMC V6's. They are dsigned for low rpm torque. Some guys have upgraded the original carb for a Holley 500cfm 2bbl. I think there is something you can do with the distributor too, just don't remember what. If you do a search, I'm sure you'll find some info.
