Re: 1980s lifted pics
Mines a 78, looks like an 80 when you can't see the grille.
Mines a 3/4 ton 2wd with about a 2" lift. 265/75r16 tires [IMG][/IMG] |

Re: 1980s lifted pics
Yours looks like the front height is even with the back....did you raise the front more than the back?

Re: 1980s lifted pics
I already had the HD springs on the back and then I put 1.5" blocks on the back and 1 ton springs on the front.

Re: 1980s lifted pics
Matt man...good thread however those are 4x4s... the original poster is asking about 2wds.
I only put 1 ton coils up front and ran 32" tires... You are really limited on a good lift for these trucks, but it would help to know what you are trying to accomplish first before pointing you in a particular direction.

Re: 1980s lifted pics
3" blocks and 1 ton coils, well they were supposed to be but I think they were just 3/4.

Re: 1980s lifted pics
It's plenty tall enough to jump out the bed and dunk on the basketball court

Re: 1980s lifted pics
It's a truck not a caddy... the ride in mine actually wasn't that bad and I drove mine daily for years.
