Would this be a good buy?
Found a 6.0 out of an '05 suburban that comes with the computer, 4 wheel trans and transfer case for $2500. Has 120,000 miles on it. Think it sounds like a good deal? I'm gonna try and work out payments to this guy.

Re: Would this be a good buy?
No that sounds like a great "effin" deal. Lol. The Computer alone is couple hundred bucks I know. Probably more, I just can't remember which ones go for more. The Tranny and Transfer Case is well worth not much less than $1000. To tell you the truth I would pay about $1500 just for the motor alone. I just replaced my motor in my '99 truck (a 5.7) for $3500. Just for the block! Your getting the whole thing, the tranny and case, and the computer for it, all for that price. So yeah, if you want it, I'd definitely do it!

I'm gonna call him tomorrow and see if we can work something out. Hopefully he will let me take 2 or 3 months to pay him.

I'm gonna guess he just wants to get rid of it. I don't thin he's hurting for money. Lol. He pulled it out to put a brand new duramax and Allison in it. Haha.

Re: Would this be a good buy?
Well that sucks. Doesn't want to hold it though? Eh, I wouldn't worry about it. Sounds like a regular sales man. Just trying to get you to come up with the money quicker...

Re: Would this be a good buy?
I got a guy coming to look at my Camaro in about an hour. I'm hoping he buys it then I can go buy my 6.0! What am I looking at in getting the conversion finished?
-Mounts -EFI Tank -? The motor comes with harness and computer. My dad can modify the harness to work so I won't have to spend anything there. Any input from you guys that have done the swap?
