Prices...
You know, I am really surprised with the amount of information this website gives. I found another vendor through and advertisement here and before this place, I though LMC truck was the only way to go. I now have a place to get a chrome tilt steering column just under $500 instead of just under $1000 (!!!!!!!!!!!) from LMC. What are some other really really good websites for buying things for a 1971 chevy pickup?

Re: Prices...
Mar K isn't too bad for bed type stuff especially good reviews on molding strips.
If you check ebay there is a guy in Sikeston, Mo. that has been doing various types of bed floors and some bed parts has sold tons via internet that a guy could pickup saving a bit on shipping. But check the review board posts for dealings with most any vendors. And the vendors list for site vendors. If you stay as close as possible you can try keep the shipping cost down.

Re: Prices...
Does it have to be chrome? If you just want a new column with tilt take a look at the one CPP has to offer. Contact forum member CPPJeff for the best deal. LINK
BTW- We have a Vendors Marketplace on this forum that usually has some great deals.

Re: Prices...
Then, there are the Power Buys....when a bunch of folks all get on board the same wagon and buy in bulk for a better price. I'm not one of the participants because of the financial end of the deal, but it's something that folks need to be aware of and ready to jump on.
