Were all trucks with this molding 2 tone?

I'm trying to figure out how my '73 was originally painted, I'm pretty sure there was no red. The interior is silver kinda like the outside but it doesn't quite match. (pretty sure that's factory)

Did all of the trucks with this side molding come from the factory in 2 tone paint? Or - did all "Cheyenne Super" trucks have 2 tone paint?

You can set my truck on fire and roll it down a hill,
and I still wouldn't trade it for a Coupe de Ville.

Can't answer the part about the Cheyenne, but not all trucks had 2 tone with the trim. My stepdad worked for Borg Warner when I was a kid (in the 70's) and he bought several of these new. One was dark green, not two tone, had the side mouldings. I remember him driving down the embankment and driving it in the White River!

What color is the inside of the cab, is it still original? Pics would help.

Unfortunately I don't have that.

I'm pretty sure it's original. I found a receipt in the truck from a Chevy dealership in 1992, where somebody bought 2 fenders and a door. But as best I can tell both my doors are original...and the fenders look original too. The inside is painted kind of a silver/blue color, I'll try and take a pic later.

On the two tone trucks, did they paint the entire truck one color, and then add the second? I see some evidence of white paint showing through between the bed and cab...is it possible that's primer?

From what I've seen, it appears they sprayed one color without masking. Then masked off the areas that were to stay the 1st color and sprayed the 2nd color. I doubt they wasted paint by trying to get complete coverage with the 1st color in areas that were to be painted over with the 2nd color. But there would be a considerable amount of 1st color "overspray" underneath the 2nd color.

My '74 is solid at the bottom with the trim, but it does have a white roof. My 79 Scottsdale and '75 blazers were the same way.
