Disassembled my 3/4 ton rear springs and pressed the bushings out which is always a fun job and messy when you get liquid rubber all over everything. Cleaned the shop today and changed the trans and engine filter and oil on my Daughters 2002 impala.

Re: What did you get done spooktacular halloween edition 10/31/2010
Took a 5 1/2 hour drive down to Charlotte NC Friday for the GoodGuys show. Our hobby is alive and well and the talent pool continues to grow. I arrived at 10:30 AM Friday and headed home at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. There's no way you're going to see everything in that short time span. I did manage to grab a couple hundred pictures............
http://s430.photobucket.com/albums/q...uys2010Friday/ http://s430.photobucket.com/albums/q...s2010Saturday/ Picked up a few items for my next project. I also met Tony from RideTech, Tony is a fellow board member, great guy. Getting to clock 700 miles on the Heap was a blast!

Re: What did you get done spooktacular halloween edition 10/31/2010
Saturday I went to a buddies house (Subtle71) and helped him lower his truck. He and a a couple friends had already lowered the rear earlier in the week so all that was left was the front.
Today I picked up a few more parts from the guy that I bought all the goodies from last week. Still have more to look at next week, but I may have some 73-80 sheet metal coming available. This afternoon I finally worked on my E3 system again. I discoverd I had a broken ride height sensor, so I pulled them all off to inspect and start fresh/

Re: What did you get done spooktacular halloween edition 10/31/2010
Saw the truck twice this week-end but more busy with family than shop time this week-end.
Primary caretaker of wife this week-end as she now is home recovering from major surgery on Thursday. To allow her to rest as needed went into Mr Mom mode as I care for our 6 year old son as well on this Halloween week-end along with a lot of domestic chores for a change. The wife smiles quietly even in her discomfort as she watches mine. Began work on making the list of parts for the next phase of truck improvements; engine bay clean-up with a 'few' improvements to the engine soon. Taking time to begin reading my new oem service manual. "Just another day in Paradise..." Mark

Re: What did you get done spooktacular halloween edition 10/31/2010
finally painted my frame, Painted the top of the frame yesterday and painted the underside of the frame Today, but had a little accident while I was cleaning up the spray gun the wind caught the jack stands and pushed the frame forward to the ground. Then scared the older trick or treaters

Re: What did you get done spooktacular halloween edition 10/31/2010
Went and picked up a good top for my '74 Jimmy and found out the guy had some new floor pans that I'm probably going to pick up too. Got it set on and back in the garage.

Re: What did you get done spooktacular halloween edition 10/31/2010
Found a ground wire issue behind the cluster, causing some light issues. Reinstalled the go pedal assembly and the e-brake assembly. Fixed a power steering leak. Plumbed in the new heater core that has been bypassed for years. Installed new belts. Reinstalled the windshield wiper motor and hooked up the linkage. Started to draw out the plans for the custom sub woofer box for behind the seat. And finished it all up with a thorough wash and wax job!!

Re: What did you get done spooktacular halloween edition 10/31/2010
got it on down on all fours, the front looks killer, but the back can come down another inch and the wheels out an inch i'm thinking.. Anyone know the best place to get adapter/spacers from?
also put in my line loc, and all new stainless front lines, and a stainless flex line for the back as well, made up my seat bracket so i can mount my imprezza seats, i think that's it...

Re: What did you get done spooktacular halloween edition 10/31/2010
Got the barn ready for the next 16' of pallet racking. Done until the next 10 yards of stone shows up. Mowed the back lawn, moved some steps around, started setting up my WMO processor for using WMO in my 6.2 diesel, changed the fuel filters and oil on my tractor. Next i'm going to design some engine racks so I can et all my powertrains on the pallet racking. That should be fun.

Re: What did you get done spooktacular halloween edition 10/31/2010
it was my last full day home (i leave for boot camp today) so my uncles and grandpa came out and we took my 62 out to the street and destroyed my 295 50s on it and left more rubber on the street than on the tires then we all got onto my drag cart and had a good old time tearin up the dirt road in front of my house
here is a pic of my cart with my uncle tito on it im the one standing behind him
