Re: GMC and Chevy emblems
all they would have is a "V6" emblem on the side of the hood, unless they came with a inline 6, then they would have no emblem.

Re: GMC and Chevy emblems
how about the custom cab emblem on the GMC instead of the sail on the Chevy.

Re: GMC and Chevy emblems
1960 thru 1966 American GMC pickups did not use series indentifaction emblems, however Canadian GMC pickups did (910 920 930).American GMC medium duty trucks did use series indentifcation plates 4000, 5500, 6000 etc. Vin # on GMC 1/2 tons were 1000 series, 3/4 tons were 1500 series and 1 tons were 2500 series. If equipped with the 230 or 250 straight 6, the Vin# would start with an "I". The only American GMC emblems were "V6" or "Custom".

Re: GMC and Chevy emblems
It is very common to find these chrome "Custom" emblems with the trim paint faded or rubbed off. When brand new, these emblems had alternating red and white stripes below the word custom.
