Patched my cab fresh air vents
Made some progress on my cab today. Most would have deemed this cab junk but I was up for the challenge. Front & rear cab supports, front & rear floor pans, pillars, kick panels, cab corners, and soon to be cowl panel, inner roof panel and a roof skin

Re: Patched my cab fresh air vents
I replaced my roof skin as well. How do you plan on putting the new one in?

Re: Patched my cab fresh air vents
I plan on spot welding it around the drip rails and then welding the seam up in the rear. First I need to weld in the inner roof panel and repair some other rust along the drip rails. I would love to use some panel adhesive and glue it in place but the application gun and crap is expensive as hell!

I was curious because I did the spot welding also. It turned out looking nice, but I seen another build where they used the auto adhesive. It would look better, but I never checked on the price of it all. One thing I would recommend that I overlooked is to pack that thing with sound deadener. I just put a factory piece back in there, but after wards wish, since it was open, I would have covered it all.
