2007 Chev Silverado NNBS OEM Remote Starter Problem
I have a friend that has a 2007 Silverado CCSB Gas truck. It has factory remote start. He wants me to look at it for him but I need some direction. The remote starter works fine until the Ambient temp gets below -15 C. Not -13 or -14 but -15 and colder, it does not work. The lights flash like it always does but the starter does not. It will start with the key . So I'm thinking it has to be in the remote start somewhere...Any help??? Thanks

Re: 2007 Chev Silverado NNBS OEM Remote Starter Problem
Do you think there is a limit set on how cold it can be? It seems odd that it works fine at -14 but not at -15. Then again, it seems odd that anyone would live were it gets that cold from my Southern perspective.
You may want to check with GM on that one.

I've had a couple of factory remote start systems and haven't had that kind of trouble nor heard of it before (and believe me I understand cold weather).Have you found and answers?Sorry I can't help.
