Spare tire wheel color- 64 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Restoring 1964 truck to original condition.

Was the spare tire WHEEL color the same color as the other wheels (lower body color)...or another color?

I "think"!! it was black.

the spare wheel color was the same as the other wheels on the truck.all solid color trucks had black wheels and also the black and white tutone had black wheels.all other tutone trucks the wheels were the lower body color including the spare.for example red and white trucks had red wheels.hope this helps.

Thanks for the responses. Painted the spare the same color as the other four wheels on the truck (Light Blue). They look great!

Just wanted to be sure!
