Auto behind 235
I am building a modified 235 for my '48, cam, carbs, headers, and would like to have an automatic trans behind it. Any thoughts or suggestions?

http://stoveboltengineco.com/index.p...roduct=1396439 and a similar one from Buffalo http://www.inliners.org/buffalo/index.htm If your 235 block has the necessary mounting holes, IMO it would be less work/money to use side mounts instead of the mid-mount plate shown in the above write-up. That 261 does have the holes, but I think the builder used the mid-mount because he already had it. Ray
