your wheels end up sitting farther back it makes turning harder and wear tires alot faster probably hit inner fenders it's no good

the arms will kinda slope back looking from where the engine is. front of the truck arms angled back. back of the arms will look straight if this helps

But the taper on the spindles wouldn't match the tie rods

Re: What would happen if i mixed up my spindles?

Brake caliper bolt on the top,... behind the centerline of the spindle.
Make sure you get the steering centerlink and tie rods assembled correctly, also.

Post a pic if you can.....I think we have a couple "clowns " playin Me included There is no way in he!! that you can swap the spindles side to side & make the linkage hook up. If you swapped the top a arms side for side, you will run into the problem that darthwall mentioned...a pic is worth 1000 words, & we will help crazyAl

Where is the steering knuckle? Not on yet, or is it facing rear?

Re: What would happen if i mixed up my spindles?

Its been a while since I played with drum brakes, but I think that knuckle only bolts on 1 way. check your pcs, the knuckle needs to be foward, to hook all the steer linkage.

Re: What would happen if i mixed up my spindles?

ITs on as of now, along with a couple other things but this is the most recent pic. I noticed from a previous pic that i had the steering knuckle upside down. If you cant tell from the pic or asking me questions dont worry about it. I might go to school early tomorrow or monday to update the pic. Just tell me what you want a pic of

Tagar89,
For future reference, it helps a lot to give more information in the first place.
If you had stated the year, model, drum brakes, etc... Many of these questions would never have happened, and you would have gotten more pertinent responses much quicker.

This applies to most suspension questions.
