dust shields with belltech 3" 73+ drop spindles?
Anyone running the 3" belltech drop spindles with the dust shields? What year dust shields are you using? Any modifications to the shield? What's the best place to order dust shields from?
My chassis came with the belltech spindles but no dust shields and I don't have any dust shields to check fitment. Thanks in advance,

Any 73-87 dust shield will work.
Try to buy used ones,... new ones are pricey, ECE sells them new. I think they are available from your local GM dealer also.

Ok. Thanks. Are they a coated steel or aluminum? If aluminum I should be able to clean up a used one to look like new. If coated. It might be easier to just buy new... Looks like they're about $40 each from ECE.

They are steel.
Probably zinc plated. I would paint a used set.

I used CPP dust shields #CPDS-10, on my Western Chassis dropped spindles. They were $49 for the pair, zinc plated steel and bolted right up. They even came with the bolts.
