Mustang ll ride height

I have a 1958 Apache 3200 longbed and i want to put a mustang ll ifs in it and want to know how much the truck will be lowered just by installing the ifs kit on the standard drop spindles that comes with the kit?

I want to get the truck as low as i can using a mustang ll ifs and just reseting the leafs and lowering block the rear to get a level ride height.

Any help would be great,Cheers

This has a TCI MII with 2" drop spindles and 2 full coils cut in the image that has all the sheetmetal. The pic where the front clip is off is with the coils that came with the MII uncut.

2 inch block with the axle mounted on top of the leafs.
I took the short bottom leaf and one other out of the spring pack. of course a c-notch was needed as well.

Re: Mustang ll ride height

Most manufacturers can give you a spec for the spindle hieght. Our Wide-Ride IFS kits put the spindle CL in a range of, "even with the bottom of the rail - to 1" up from the bottom of the rail," at ride hieght. This is with a stock spindle. By knowing the tire size, you can figure out frame hieght. Most IFS kits are close to this range, but ask the company your looking at to give you the info. Good luck
