Back up light
Hey, so my back up lighting situation SUCKS! Ive offend thought about getting a cheep pair of driving lights and hooking one up to my trailer hitch. So that when I put it in R it lights up better. Then I remembered I have a old one that was on the front of the truck when I got it. I never figured out how to turn them on *no switches in cab

Re: Back up light
You would need to run driving lights though a relay because the wiring from the factory will not support Driving lights , at least not very long.
The normal back up lights in a square body are run thru a light green wire IIRC .yellow =left turn....dark green=right turn....brown=tail lights ,.....black is ground.....light green= reverse lights. the light green wire runs to the neutral safety switch/backup light switch , low on the steering column |

Re: Back up light
Thanks guys for moving it.
On second thought, would it be easier to just hook it up like Augie? I guess I don't need it every time I back up. Posted via Mobile Device
