94 Steering colum fit in a 79??
Just curious if a 1994 steering colum will fit in a 1979 C-10??...Anyone try it??

i wouldnt think so, like a 94 steering column is sqaure and alot bigger than a 79, i have a 95 and 79 and i dont think there is anyway that would work unless you do alot of fab work

They didn't have airbags in the steering wheel until '95, 88-94 had the old-style column. I bet it is possible to change them out; visibly there isn't a lot of difference that I can see between a column from a pre-88 model and a column from a 88-94. I'm sure someone knows the details between the two.
