s10 swap steering question
Anyone splice the 86-99 astro van u-joints onto the s-10 steering column for better flexibility and good steering without hard spots.

Re: s10 swap steering question
I had intended to do this, but once I got the shaft off I saw the u-joints were trash so I ordered new parts from Speedway.

Re: s10 swap steering question
I went with a late 70's chev van column and kept the keys in the dash... So my intermediate shaft is all splines, no double 'D'...
Ted.

Re: s10 swap steering question
I used my stock 49 column and splice it to the s10 assembly.
