Re: Your 2011 Plans For Your 60-66?
With the recent addition of new front wheels, ours is essentially complete on the outside. I just plan to drive and enjoy, and hopefully capture an artwork quality photograph of it with a dramatic sunset/sunrise, or lake in the background. And I may diamond tuft the seats if I get ambitious enough.

Re: Your 2011 Plans For Your 60-66?
As some of you have seen things are finally moving a bit on my truck, based on what Art is saying, I should have it all painted by Feb. I'm trying to have her together by end of march, plated and ready I'd like to go to the Blue Seude Cruise in Tupelo this Apr. 29th. - May 1st.
http://bluesc.com/ Got the tires thursday, (last major buy) The front windshield is the next major step once I get the cab back. I look at it like its a 1/1 scale model,

Paint and body for us too. Not much work on the truck since hunting season opened 9-1. Deer closes tomorrow in the Texas panhandle. We are ready to get back to it. My son will be 16 this summer. I plan have him driving it under permit this spring. I could'nt find a newer pic. The cab paint is done. Going to move on the the front soon.

1. Be reunited! (she's on her way right now). When I moved, had to drop it off in Indiana for a few weeks, it got picked up yesterday and is on its way. Check out the pic of the massive truck that swallowed it!
2. Install a 5-speed (TBD if go the tremec or t5 route...) 3. Vette dual quad resto then install on the ol 283 (I hope) All subject to change, of course... |

Re: Your 2011 Plans For Your 60-66?
swap out the 5.13 diff for the newer diff with 4.11 so I can drive on hiway. Also recover front seat and replace wiring. Then I can take it to the NSRA show in pueblo this year if I don't get the 71 repaired! Now that we can actually enter into the shows

Re: Your 2011 Plans For Your 60-66?
I'm planning to replace my original wood bed and strips with a nice hardwood and polished stainless strips and bolts. My truck still has the original wood and it's in great condition. I just don't believe that it would be worth stripping and refinishing the original pine. There it is in print.
