FNG checking in

hello everyone! i am new to the forum though i was lurking for about 3 months.
here's a little background;
i am currently serving on active duty (7 years) in the USAF stationed at Whiteman AFB, MO. i am married with a 4 year old. my wife and son are both real big into cars/trucks and customizing everything from stereo to suspension. we got ric of her truck and my car because they where not allowing us to live comfortably anymore due to the loss of money PCSing to Missouri. oh well. i think i am better off in my "new" truck
here is what i had
2008 Subaru STi, Perrin sway bars F/R and Cobb AP v2 tuned by Perrin (272whp 298 wtq)

here is what my wife had
2009 Toyota Tacoma 4X4, 6 inch Pro Comp lift, 18in Pro Comp wheels and 33in Pro Comp tires, and too much other to list

here is what we own now
mine, 63 C10 swb fleetside

hers, 09 Challenger R/T
the car has a cutom carbon fiber look paint job where the R/T stripes would be and an ungly set of 20s on it. both done by the previous owner

Welcome from Weeki Wachee, FL. And thank you for your service Stealth.
Save the FNG stuff for the HAMB; no beat downs given here. Good luck with your 63

Re: FNG checking in

Welcome ! I like both of them, but really partial to the truck. The 20" wheels aren't so bad, at least they remined me of the old "500" series type. So they have a somewhat classic look about them.

Re: FNG checking in

thanks for the warm welcome guys. while i do miss the speed and handling and looks and speed of the Subaru i must admit the truck is more "tuner" friendly.
i do have a page on the projects and builds heading that i will update as i remember to to show the current state of the 63

Re: FNG checking in

welcome aboard, & thanks for your service

i really dig the '63 as well...just something about the character these old trucks exude....but i can appreciate the effort you put into your previous rides, & it sucks you had to get rid of them...on the other hand, i like both of the new rides better
