Finally can show Pic's of my build
After posting a few questions and reading tons on this site i finnally can add some pic's of my build. This 57 was a steal when i bought it, it came with so many new parts that the previous owner had bought with his dad and then decided he was no longer interested so up for sale it went. I started out working on it in a single car garage but have since moved in to a 20 X 40 shop. I have stripped everything off so far except the cab. Next saturday the doors, fenders ( inner & outer), hood, cab and many other parts will go out to be blasted clean and then E-coated at a buddies work then the body work will begin. I have stripped and coated the frame from the rear up to the box with por15 & will do the rest once the cab is removed. The motor & tranny have been sent out for rebuild with upgrades with the rear end to follow. It has a 350/350 with a ford 9" rear end with 3:73 gears. The box sides are pretty rough so a complete new box from
pros-pic.com will be ordered later on. I will post more pics as it goes. Any comments or questions appreciated ! |

Yes it is a Nove clip. I am finding many "surprizes" that the PO has left me ! However I am having a lot of fun and learning alot as I go. This is my first project ever and I already have the bug and know it will not be my last !

Re: Finally can show Pic's of my build
That looks like a nice truck to start a project with with most of the hard work done.
What are the plans? |
