Show me Blue n White C10s
I usually have a concrete plan when I get a truck. Ive had alot. But im buying a blue and white 65 short fleet thats heavily patina'd. I love the look.
Problem is Im torn as to whether I want blackwalls or www's, and if I go whites, what color wheels. if I go blk walls, Im thinking white steelies with poverty caps... if I go wwws, Im sure I'll get hammered but Im feeling red steelies... ***My truck is near exactly as CWTs except more patina'd..heres his*** Show me pics.....

Re: Show me Blue n White C10s
66 blue/white with white pc'ed stock steelies and blackwall 235/75/15s. Pov caps are 59 impala (or thereabouts).
You pose a good quesiton - if you go WWWs - white wheels would be a nogo on a blue/white truck, I think, so the red looks great I think. I'm a blackwall tire kinda person from some reason - but I struggled with white or black wheels. Personally, I LOVE black steelies with blackwall tires and just a poverty cap. If my truck were monotone, that is what I would have done. But since I have a two-toner, I felt the white wheels were more appropriate. For a patina'ed truck, I just might go with black wheels on blackwalls (or whitewalls) and a pov cap. But then again, that red on CWT's looks AWESOME! Bottom line, I think a basic color is the best choice - black, white, red, etc. Can't wait to see some pics!! If your truck looks like CWT's, you've got a winning combo. Re: Show me Blue n White C10s
My son's 66 GMC, the blue wheels are from his trying to find a close matching baby blue for some 15x8 rally's that we will cap and ring...don't know what tire we'll go with yet.

Re: Show me Blue n White C10s
I like seeing all these different styles of the same basic truck. Gives me lots of idea's of stuff I can't afford right now.

Re: Show me Blue n White C10s
Funny this got bumped.
I posted this about 1 year ago. I ended up selling that c10, and have had 3-4 other C10s since... My wife says its Automotive A.D.D Sad thing is, this old beater in these pics is the one I wish I woulda kept. It was a haggered short fleet, but turned into a super fantastic driver. My 15yr old and I swapped 72 C10 dr spindles, shocks, 3.08 posi 5-lug, adj trac etc. I was proud of how much my 15yr old did himself. But some crazy older guy offered me dumbass money for it in Columbus at GGs.
