1960 Chevy short bed frame
Any body have pictures of the front frame or know if it is boxed from factory?

There is a picture in my build thread of the "boxed" frame in question. Any help would be great. I know that the 63+ frames are channel frames. I haven't seen any other thread pictures of frames prior to 63.

Here are a couple of photos of my 1960 GMC many moons ago showing the front portion of the 60-62 frame that is normally considered boxed:

That's what I thought. I never seen them boxed before... mine is boxed all the way to the rear. Until about a foot before the front and rear.

Thanks for the picture by the way mark. Is there something special about these frames? Seeing as how nobody knows of them being boxed?
