factory ride height?
I've been looking for awhile and can't seem to find info on what the factory ride height (front)was on a 1965 C10 and where is the measurement taken. Im thinking from middle of spindle to bottom of finder but am not sure. Any ideas? Im trying to figure out how much it has been lowered so I can bring it back up where I would like it to be. I think its 5 in the front and I know 6 in the rear.

Re: factory ride height?
geezer#99,
Thank you. that was exactly what I was looking for and confirmed a few things for me. my measurements: Front: spindle to fender:14" fender to ground: 27.5" (tire: 235/75R15) Rear: axle to fender: 11" front of cab to ground: 9" rear of cab to ground: 10" rear finder to ground: 11" (in front of tire) Im looking to raise it up 1" I like the low look but think 1 inch will make the ride quality better, Im looking for a 3 inch lowering spring can someone point me in the right direction brands etc.? Ive ordered alot from this company http://www.classicparts.com/1963-72-...info/74-471-3/ have always had good exp. anyone else? |
