New Motors In!!
Just put in the 355. Still have alittle work to do, with taking out all of the old fuel injection wires and things.. But its in and running. Drove it home from the shop and ran out of gas. So a cop pulled up behind me and asked what I was doing so I told him I ran out of gas. But the worst part was I was running home with just open headers, so when I got the gas and started he was right behind me. But to my surprise he never pulled me over. Its hard to make open headers quiet!!

Re: New Motors In!!
Its a 355 with 420 horsepower at the fly wheel. It has aluminum heads with an aggressive cam and has roller rockers and an 850 holly carb with long tube headers.. and all types of little things. I just bought a turbo 350 to put behind it, because I don't want to use the 700R4.
85chevy4x4, Its tough right because we got about 2 feet of snow on the ground so I wont be driving it till spring. The only time that I drove it was from the shop to my house with open headers. I had a smile on my face the whole way home. But i am really existed for spring.

Re: New Motors In!!
Bet you had a smile from ear to ear when you started it for the first time...I'm betting the carb is a little too big also . I would probably get rid of that fan too before it goes through your hood or your head if you happen to be under there at the time

Re: New Motors In!!
I think I am going to get some electric fans. I am going to see how the carb is in the spring but if I don't like it i am going to get a smaller one. It was on there when I bought the motor. I only paid 2 grand for the motor and everything
